Unique Self Sanitising Equipment:
Whilst unorthodox, the design philosophy for all patented RBDS equipment is based around minimising cross contamination rather than aesthetics. As all of our equipment goes inside the decontamination area (giving better gas distribution) the design must ensure that there are no covers, or crevices, which could trap organisms. Therefore all components, including the sensitive onboard electronics, are exposed to a full 6-log decontamination every time the equipment is used. With over 10,000 rooms decontaminated by RBDS, it proves yet again excellent material compatibility.
Process Verification:
BIOQUELL are able to offer advice and also references on biological efficacy from a broad overview to detailed analysis on particular organisms. Whilst swabbing, contact /settle plates and air sampling are all valid methods of detecting contamination (and have all been used to show the effectiveness of our service) a more consistent challenge is required. Therefore RBDS uses independantly enumerated biological indicators consisting of 6-log Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores on a stainless steel coupon.
