Biological Efficacy:
Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) – the technology behind RBDS - has proven biological efficacy against a wide range of nosocomial pathogens, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE), Acinetobacter baumannii and Clostridium difficile.

Electronic medical equipment:
can be difficult to clean using manually applied liquid agents but the vapour-phase nature of HPV ensures uniform bio-decontamination, penetrating difficult to reach areas. Minimal disruption:
Bioquell can decontaminate single ward side-rooms in less than 2 hours and entire wards in 12 hours. Although the area to be decontaminated must be vacated by staff and patients, other areas of the hospital, for example adjacent rooms, can operate as normal.
